Girmaw Ashebir Sinshaw (M.Ed.) is an Ethiopian academic, researcher, and media communications professional with over 11 years of experience in higher education. He currently serves as the Director for Internal Relations and Communication and a Lecturer in Cinema and Theatre Arts at Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia. Girmaw has previously directed public and international relations at Debre Markos University and Dilla University. He holds a BA in Ethiopian Language and Literature from Dilla University, an M.Ed. in Art Education (Theater) from Yogyakarta State University (Indonesia), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Executive Leadership from Bahir Dar University. His research and reviewing expertise span the humanities, indigenous knowledge systems, ethnomusicology, performing arts education, film studies, and strategic institutional communication. Beyond academia, he is an active media host, content creator, and script analyst.
